There’s no office and no pressure to talk. Instead, your child spends time on the ground with a calm, trained horse, guided by a supportive instructor.

They may begin by brushing, learning to slow their movements and match the steady rhythm of the horse. From there, they might lead the horse through simple patterns—stopping, starting, and moving together.

If your child feels nervous or unsure, the horse often reflects that. When your child takes a breath, focuses, and tries again, the horse responds. That moment builds confidence in a way children can actually feel.

There are also quiet moments—standing beside the horse, noticing, settling. These small interactions help children become more aware of themselves without needing to explain what they’re feeling.

Clinical Therapy Option

Some services may be eligible for insurance reimbursement depending on your provider and plan—we’re happy to help guide you through that process.
