HELLO, HORSE! A Beginner's Ranch Adventure
Join us for four unforgettable days of horses, farm fun, outdoor adventures, crafts, games, new friendships, and supervised beginner-friendly riding experiences in a calm safe environment at Reigning Hope Ranch in Orrington, Maine.
Perfect for girls and boys ages 7-14 with little or no horse experience.
Camp Dates: June 29 - July 2 Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

*Important: All registrations are non-refundable. In the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, camp credit may be issued at the discretion of Reigning Hope Ranch.
Reigning Hope Ranch is a 501(c)²3 non-profit organization. Camps such as this help us provide equine assisted programs & services to veterans, first responders, families & individuals.
Summer Horse Camp at Reigning Hope Ranch
A hands-on barn day filled with horses, learning, friends and fun!
Ages 8–12 * No experience or equipment required, but please dress with safety in mind. Wear layers - no open toed shoes or shorts.
Daily drop-off: The barn at 305 Center Drive, Orrington at 8am
Lunch: Please bring a bag lunch.
Snacks and drinks provided.
Activities include:
• Learning the anatomy of a horse
• Nature trail walks with the horses
• Learning how to safely care for a horse
• Making horse treats
• Learning how to clean tack
• 1–2 supervised riding sessions each day focused on fun, trust, and confidence-building
• Games & trivia
• Making new friends

Little Riders Intro to Horses - A Day Camp at Reigning Hope Ranch
A fun and gentle one-day horse camp introduction for kids ages 6 &7 at Reigning Hope Ranch in Orrington.

Day Campers will enjoy guided riding time, horse care, beginner horse instruction, horse trivia, games, and confidence-building activities with our friendly herd completely supervised by our experienced staff.
No horse experience needed. This day camp is perfect for kids who are not yet familiar with horses or are interested in attending a horse camp and want to get a preview in a safe supervised horse environment.
